Ming Tao Xuan is a long-standing Chinese tea house in the heart of Old Montreal, a comfortable salon with a warm, Zen décor where fine loose-leaf teas and Yixing clay pots are sold. Its shelves run from jasmine dragon pearls through oolong and pu-erh to buckwheat tisane, alongside traditional teaware. Listings note that seated tea service has been paused since the pandemic, so the shop currently operates primarily as a retail tea house.

Afternoon tea is the oldest continuing tradition at The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal, served since 1912 in the hotel's Palm Court. Three daily seatings at 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM bring fine teas, homemade sandwiches, scones and pastries from the hotel's pastry chef, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and (with 48 hours' notice) Glatt Kosher versions.
