Haddon Heights

South Jersey tea house "reinventing tea time" since March 2020, with a walk-in tea bar Wednesday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm and reserved afternoon tea seatings Wednesday through Sunday. The tea service brings delicate finger sandwiches, quiches and handmade scones, and the BYOB room includes a selfie station with props and hats. Themed events, hands-on workshops and catering round out the calendar.

Princeton

Princeton location of the Prince Tea House group, serving fresh teas imported directly from France in decorative tea sets. The menu covers afternoon tea sets, desserts, salads and sandwiches. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

West Cape May

Loose-leaf tea shop established in 2002 in Victorian Cape May, founded to give visitors and locals a place to discover and buy from a large selection of loose teas. The range spans black, green, white, oolong, rooibos, chai, Assam, Darjeeling, herbal and dessert teas, sold in 2 oz bags with boxed options available.

Flemington

Tea room in a restored Victorian home on Flemington's Main Street, celebrating over 21 years in business. Lunch and afternoon tea menus feature seasonal creations made fresh daily, with more than one hundred loose-leaf teas including herbal and fruited tisanes. Open Friday through Monday with reservations recommended; private parties and catering available.

Riverton

Tea room in a restored 1910 Victorian storefront and adjacent 1898 house in the Victorian village of Riverton, operating for over 30 years. Afternoon tea is served Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays by reservation only, with a freshly baked scone, seasonal fruit, assorted tea sandwiches, desserts and a pot of tea. Themed teas add musical, historical and theatrical presentations.

Toms River

Victorian tea room at the Mathis House bed and breakfast, serving a five-course afternoon tea Tuesday through Sunday by prepaid reservation ($50 per person on weekends, $20 for children 12 and under). The presentation includes a pot of tea from over 100 selections, seasonal salad, soup, a homemade scone with clotted cream and lemon curd, five kinds of tea sandwiches and a plate of homemade desserts. Outdoor garden teas run in warmer months.

Cape May

Tea salon at The Harrison, an 1867 Victorian bed and breakfast built as a summer residence for Philadelphian Samuel Harrison. Afternoon tea is prepared in house daily and served in the Grand Dining Room between 4 and 5 pm, pairing imported teas and tisanes with pastries, finger sandwiches, scones and seasonal baked goods. Tea can also be taken on the inn's porches overlooking Columbia Avenue's horse-drawn carriages.
