The Wenham Tea House was built in 1916 by the Wenham Village Improvement Society, which still owns and maintains the building today. Its current restaurant tenant, French-Mediterranean bistro Plat du Jour, carries on the tradition with afternoon tea served Saturdays from 2:30 to 4:30 PM by reservation only. The bistro also offers fine dining, Sunday brunch, and a retail gourmet shop.
