Rectory Farm Tearooms opened in 1950 in a 13th-century farmhouse at Morwenstow, with slate floors, open fires and oak beams salvaged from ships wrecked on the North Cornwall coast. Scones, cakes, quiches and soups are made in the farmhouse kitchen using the family's own beef and lamb and local produce, and the tearoom carries loose-leaf teas from Tregothnan; it operates seasonally, a ten-minute walk from the South West Coast Path.
