Georgian dower house of Kilkenny Castle, now run by Kilkenny Civic Trust, serving Afternoon Tea in the Lady Eleanor Room on selected dates through the year from 1pm to 3pm, with views over the restored walled garden to the castle. The menu includes plain and fruit scones, finger and artisan sandwiches, fruit tarts, macarons and pastries with tea or barista coffee. A Cream Tea of scones with strawberry preserve and Chantilly cream is served every day from 11am in the Garden View Room.
