Eastern Tea Bar is a family-owned loose-leaf tea house on Gottingen Street, founded in 2019 to bring small-batch teas and matcha sourced directly from farmers to Atlantic Canada. The shop doubles as a tea room and vintage market, and books British-style afternoon tea parties for up to 15 guests with Nova Scotia scones, a seasonal danish, cucumber and dill finger sandwiches, clotted cream and local jams. A second location operates on Main Street in Mahone Bay.

The Rose & Kettle Tea Room has been the heart of the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum for more than 30 years, serving from a Victorian verandah between May 15 and October 15. Everything is made from scratch in small batches with local ingredients and served on vintage china: soups, sandwiches, cakes, pastries and homemade ice cream, with a traditional cream tea always available. Orders are placed at the café-style window and seating is first come, first served.

Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia

Spill the Tea is a seaside tea shop and little tea room on Main Street in Mahone Bay (the former Tea Brewery address), blending artisan loose-leaf teas in-house. Hundreds of teas from around the world are stocked across black, green, white and oolong, herbal, rooibos and wellness categories, along with teapots and accessories. Visitors can sit in for a cup and stay a while.

World Tea House on Argyle Street, across from Neptune Theatre, is a downtown Halifax tea bar where old-world tea traditions meet modern mixology and café culture. It hosts ParTEA tasting classes and gongfu tea sessions by appointment.
