The revived original Shingle Inn, Brisbane's oldest cafe (opened 1936 on Edward Street), now housed inside City Hall on King George Square. High tea features ribbon sandwiches, petite sweets and hand-made scones with clotted cream and preserve, served with T2 loose-leaf teas or the house coffee blend. Open daily 9am to 4pm except public holidays; a Teddy Bear High Tea is offered for children.
